Blain's Farm and Fleet Farm & Fleet cheap parts and bad quality work. Ottawa Illinois

September of 2012, I went to Blain's Farm and Fleet in Ottawa IL to have them check my brakes on my 2006 Kia Spectra5.  All brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced including both really calipers.  I wanted to make sure that the parts are quality since three years prior, I had to have the rear brakes replaced as well as he driver rear caliper.  Everythig said and done.  The brake pa Da have a lifetime warranty and my car's brake system was up to specs.  About one week ago, the rear brakes started a squealing noise when I would accelerate after a complete stop.  It is August of 2014 and it has not been a full two years so I declined to take my car in to the same location that previously serviced the brakes.  I arrived there at 8 am.  By 9 am I was told that the rear rotors were pitted and the brake pads were bad, which is weird since the front brakes absorb the majority of the braking forces especially in FWD cars.  Anyway they said that the pads were covered but the rotors and the charge for changing them out would be around a 100 USD.  I said fine so do it.  I wait until 11:30 (was supposed to be done by 10 am)  all of the sudden, the rear calipers both needed to be replaced since the new pads and rotors were thicker than the worn one's.  So I told them just put the left stuff back on because I am not paying another 400 USD to fix something that should have been fixed properly less than two years ago.  I understand wear and tare as well as the elements but I do not feel like paying 400 USD every 23 months for rear brakes.  I had plenty of cars in the past that I had put 100,000 + miles ons and I had never issues with brakes like that.  Why have the same place screw it up again?  Sometimes you are better off going to a reputable mechanic or dealer than a chain store with employees.
