Approximately two days after purchasing some information from A-1 Member for $1.97, a charge of $72.21 was charged to my credit card by "BLAZINGWORDS", and a subsequent email informing me of membership was sent to me. The only charge that I authorized was the $1.97. The charge of $72.21 was fraudulent and unauthorized by me. There was nothing on the original A-1 website that informed me of an impending extra charge of $72.21. I called the customer support phone number listed in the email, and spoke to a representative named Hazel. Hazel canceled my account and gave me a confirmation number. When I demanded that my $72.21 be refunded immediately, she stated that she was unable to refund it immediately because the charge is still pending. She requested that I call back in 24 hours to request a refund, and hopefully the charge will have gone through. I called back a day later and demanded again that BlazingKeywords refund my $72.21 that they fraudulently charged to my credit card. Customer Support Rep., Richard informed me that his records show that the $72.21 had already been refunded, and that it would take 5-7 business days to come off of my credit card. I said thank you and hung up. After hanging up, I contacted the FTC - Federal Trade Commission and filed a report with them. I also contacted the FBI - Federal Bureau of Investigation and filed a report with them. If the $72.21 charge is not refunded in five days, I will proceed with pursuing litigation against this merchant. Note: neither Hazel or Richard had british or european accents.

After learning that the amount of $72.21 was charged to my account I was unsure what the charge was for. After checking my statement I noticed it was for BlazingKeywords so I immediately called and was fed the same line of b.s. as the other 2 people. It is so ridiculous that companies are able to do this. I'm sure none of us will actually be refunded for this and simply lose out on the $72.21 which is by no means a small amount of money for someone of my income.

It's true! What a scam...

It just happened to me too! I checked my bank account online to check my balance and noticed a pending charge to my account from Blazingwords for $72.21...I ran a search online for Blazingwords and sure enough the RipOff Report popped up and explained exactly what happened to me. I actually did authorize the $1.97 charge for shipping...that is it. Shipping for information about working at home. If there were any terms and conditions paragraph I missed somewhere that explains they would charge your credit card for $72.21...I would have never requested the information. Anyway, thank you for the complaint you filed. It would have taken a lot longer to figure out what this charge was for.
