I sent a deposit to Lin of Bleu Moon Cattle dogs in January for a pick female off her Cain & Dove Litter, I was notified when the puppies were born on Feb 10,2014. After that I didnt hear from her I repeatedly asked for pictures and was always given an excuse as to why she hadnt sent pictures , She had told me I had to pick my female by 5 or 6 weeks old so she could sell the remaining puppies after I picked. The puppies were almost 8 weeks old I saw she posted 2 of the girls I asked about the others and she told me one had died and I never saw the third puppy,At that time of not hearing from her and being not updated on the litter I told her I wanted my deposit back she has agreed to send it to me and then told me her husband sent it to me which I know its all lies because its now  2 weeks later no money back she has deletted me from her personal fb page and made her Bleu Moon Cattle Dog page on fb to where I cannot message her or comment, Ive called her number she wont take my calls, So She has no intentions of sending my money back she thinks I guess its free money and she is entitled to it, BUYER BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS BREEDER SHE IS A RIP OFF, Not to mention she has 4-5 litters at one time and has dogs dieing or being put down all the time if I would have known this I would have never put a deposit on a show girl from her.

If anyone has questions I have all our conversations where she agreed to send me my money back and telling me her husband sent it. I also have where she told me herself she did not like this litter they wernt what she expected? Wow and she is supposedly a breeder of Merit with AKC?

AUTHOR: VHall - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Bleu Moon kennels aka Lin Duhe Allen sent me the above messages I posted stating she would refund my Deposit, and stated she didnt like the litter dont let her fool youShe didnt lose any money on that litter she sold them all, and by NO Means was she waiting on me I was told when i placed the deposit i was to pick by 5-6 weeks of age, well i never received pictures so how can you pick when a breeder doesnt stay in contact with you and send you pictures? She has been posting lies on her fb page and when people comment she sends them nasty messages and blocks them I have the proof of those to. I was sick and tired of asking for pictures of the puppies she had one excuse after the other as to why she hadnt sent pics when they were almost 8 weeks i asked for me deposit back she agreed as you can read her messages above to me that i posted.

DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE

AUTHOR: MY HEELERS RULE - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 25, 2014

In response to the report:

Vickie Hall put a deposit down on a show prospect puppy from the Cain and Dove litter. We spoke at lenght on the phone and it was told to her that if there was not a puppy available in that litter her deposit would roll over to another litter. This is how it works and has always worked and is pretty much the industry standard for pet deposits.

When the litter was born, I informed Ms. Hall and told her it would be several weeks until it could be evaluated. Sometimes a person will pick at the age of 5 to 6 weeks but a puppy cannot be evaluated until 8 weeks of age to get a better idea of how the dog will turn out.

I did have problems getting photos to Ms. Hall due to several issues. I work full time, I also have other dogs to work with and we had terrible weather and I do not take puppies outside in bad weather. I am NOT a fan of indoor photos.

Some puppies take longer to mature and at the 8 week mark they were not what I expected. Just because a breeder says they do not like a certain litter or was not pleased with how they turned out does not make them a bad breeder, it makes them a HONEST breeder. I am not going to sell her or anyone anything that I would not keep myself to show. The litter was not what I had hoped for and some litters take longer to fill out and mature. This has happened to me in the past where I did not like what I saw at 8 weeks, sold them all and later regretted it.

I never had 4 or 5 litters at a time. My son raises these dogs also and he works offshore and when working will leave his dogs with me to care for. I happened to have two of his litters here while he was offshore working.

The comment made on dogs dying.......well what can I say? A dog who lives to be 15 to 18 is basically old and it's time is going to come sooner or later. I did lose several of my old dogs in a short span due to old age. I can easily prove all this in the vet reports where they were examined, diagnosed with cancer or simply old age, bad hips and it was just their time to go.

As for puppies dying. it happens. If any breeder tells you they never have problems and never tells you about puppies being sick of dying, you can bet your life they are lying through their teeth. ALL breeders have problems, puppies die due to  a variety of reasons from too large a litter and not being able to suppor them to mom's laying on their puppies or walking on them and causing injury or simply one being too weak to make it in life.

Ms. Hall fails to tell anyone what she told me. Her first email was wanting to back out because she was moving and could not handle two puppies at the same time. then it changed...it was wanting them to be the same age. A person moving knows in advance that they are moving and does not get into a committment they think may be too much for them. Ms. Hall simply found something else somewhere else and wanted to back out.

I lost sales on these puppies. I had one pick girl and many people asked about her, but I have emails to prove that I* told people that I had a deposit on her and waiting on the lady to confirm. I passed up many sales on her for show homes....four to be exact for the amount of 1200.00. Then Ms. Hall wants to back out and THAT is why we do not refund money. She made me lose sales by holding this puppy for her and then as the puppy got older it was harder to sell and I had to take a loss and sell her for 600.00.

It is clearly posted on the website we do not issue refunds. She threatened me with an attorney and said she needs the 200.00 back. If she can hire an attorney for 200.00 she is not needing the money that badly. She broke a contract and I am not refunding her any money back.

She needs to read up on what a Breeder of Merit is also. That is for someone competing in dogs shows, having champions and doing testing and being involved in a local kennel club. AKC does NOT get into contractural matters.

Ms. Hall also fails to mention the 105 phone calls she has placed to my home tying up my phone lines day and night, calling me at midnight and having her friends harass me on Facebook. All of this was reported to the local authorities today and I filed a stalking and harassing order with the police dept and with facebook.

Lin Allen
