I hired Jai at BlogOhBlog.com to develop a custom WordPress theme, and everything was humming along nicely until Jai required final payment before he would send me files. Against my better judgement, Jai failed to provide the product we agreed upon (my mistake).

In our original communication, I set forth a series of standards that Jai claimed to be familiar with (specifically in regards to submitting a theme to the Wordpress theme directory), yet the theme he sent me did not even come CLOSE to meeting the minimum level. While I will concede that I could have been clearer, there's no excuse for some of the blatant mistakes and omissions.

In short, either Jai didn't know what he was doing or he took a shortcut and decided not to provide me with the theme we agreed upon.

When I realized the theme wasn't close to finished, I requested a refund on my final payment until such time that the theme was completed and Jai took offense. He promised he would fix the theme to make me happy, and 2 weeks went by and nothing happened.

When contacted for follow-up, Jai was non-responsive. I contacted Jai half a dozen times requesting updates on his progress and received no response.

In short, I'm incredibly disappointed in Jai and Blog Oh Blog. I can not recommend them to anyone as a source of custom WP themes. Seriously, I've worked with a few international service providers and it's people like Jai at BlogOhBlog.com that give Indian web developers a nice job.

Shame on you Jai.
