BLS FUNDING ripoff Jericho New York

We were going to refinance our home and sent out our stuff over the internet. Several companies called and this one had a better rate and we decided to go with them. This was Aug 8, 2003. After talking with him He assured us that it was a done deal. He needed appraisal on the home which they came out end of Aug. We was told we had to pay them.

At first I was told 275.00 from BLS FUNDING. Well when the appraisal came out he charged 325.00 and we asked him why it was different. He said that Chris from (bls fund) knew what they charge, and why he told us 275. He didn't know.

So we did call Bls funding and sent email and was told this was a done deal. Our rates were locked in and etc... That we will be closing 2nd week of September. Well Sept came and Chris kept saying he waiting on the underwriter that he would call us with a date. I starting sending email to this company I do have email back from that company he kept saying not to worry this is a done deal. All of his email saying we will be closing the end of Sept. Next thing we know, my husband called and asked him what's going on and he claimed the bank wanted to pay off one of our cars to get the loan approved. Well we said that was fine - pay it off. The end Sept no word.

Oct 1,2003 My husband called and got a closing date Oct 3,2003. Next thing we know My husband called to verify it was closing and he wouldn't returned our call, so he went over his head and talk with a supervisor and then we was told the loan didn't go thru. I ask about the money on appraisal when he said in writing he guaranteed this loan was approved and we have nothing worry about. All he said was sorry, that he would released the appriasl to any company that wants it.

WEll Guess what, No company will take that cause it is in there name and it is 2months old. We Belive all alone he knew he couldn't close this loan and lied to us since Aug 8, 2003 He would tell us he would call us tomorrow or Friday and we wouldn't hear from him. So we had to keep calling him. Not someone you can trust we found out.
