We contract with Blue Crest to come and build us a pool. He took 4 months when he told us it would take him 2 months to build. He would ask for payment up front and it would take him weeks to finish one phrase of the pool. They killed tons of our shurbs. The rock work is breaking, their are cracks in the mortor, the hottub took 3 months to replace, the hottub has cracking on fiberglass, the gunite by our steps has a 2 foot crack which they stalled for a year then told use we were out of warranty. We purchased solar heaters which he told us he would install and never did.

We he finished the pool Roy Heartfield has his employees harrash us about final payment even though we told him we were not satisfied and stilled them to come fixed cracks, brokes steps and I have a 8 plus page detailed report of everything that happened during process. Other pool companies will not come out to fix his damages because they do not want to be liable for his messy work.

We never got instruction on how to care for the pool so it's trail and error on the pool care. We never talked to Roy when we tried to get repairs done because he was "always sick, in surgery, out of town, death in family, or on jobsite" which we the excuse everytime we called for a repair. I want to get the word out to people in my area because I do not want other people to get ripped off like we were because $40,000 is alot of money for a pool that cosmetically defective.

Brister

AUTHOR: Blue crest pools & spas - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 22, 2010

This job was completed in December 2006. The hot tub that Mr. Brister purchased did end up having a little crazing on the top lip of the spa, which does not damage the integrity of the spa. Crazing is different from a crack in the fact that it can continue to support a load. It is common in materials such as enamel, glaze, metal and plastic. The spa company refunded Mr. Brister with a $1500.00 check to compensate for the crazing; unfortunately the spa company has since gone out of business. In regard to cracks in the pool, we have never been notified of such. The contract for Mr. Brister included the work on the pool and the spa, he later wanted to add solar panels which he purchased himself. Blue Crest Pools was happy to install the solar panels for Mr. Brister, however, when he was told how they would be installed on his roof, and how much space it would take up, he opted to not install the panels. Per company policy, Blue Crest Pools and Spas does not warranty any thing when there is a balance owed on the pool. Mr. Brister still owes us money for the work that we completed. If anyone would care to contact us about this situation, we will be more than happy to discuss the matter.
