Blue cross & Blue shield of NC Paying for non provided services, bait & switch tactics Internet

 My wife is on medicare disability which took us 3 yto get onto. Then we are told we have to sign up for a prescription drug planp. We found one that cost $88.00 per month with generic prescritions at $4.00. Our biggest consirn was that she was on Oxyconin for pain. They showed us in the prescription coverage book that it would be $30.00 per month. It seemed reasonable at the time. She has been on the plan since January 2013. In May 2013 her cost for this medication jumped to $140.00, they claimed she was in a Gap coverage due to not having coverage for more than 63 days. As of June 2013 the cost is noe $220.00, July will double again until we are paying full price of $600.00 per month. This will happen untill we meet the deductable of $2,970.00 per year. Then they change the coverage amounts again. This is a bait and switch. Watch out for plans that sound reasonable. I don't know what our $88.00 pays for, the right for them to rip us off. If we could afford to pay the full price for the medication why would I pay the an additional $88.00 a month to cause me and my disabled wife more stress. I am so sick of the Managed health care in this coountry. We used to be able to see our own Dr's and have reasonable healthcare cost and prescription costs. Now thanks to the Managed health cre companies the Dr's can have the prescription that they have written for a patient they have physically seen denied by some paper pusher who thinks that a cheaper drug will do just as well. I guess the Dr's wasted a lot of money goning to madical school and why dont they just have you phone in your condition? Apparently the Dr's don't really need to see a patient and get a history on them or discuss with them what works and what doesn't work. Just the threat of Obama Care has sent the medical cost in this country through the roof!!!!! I own a small business and don't even have healthcare insurance but I have nothing to worry about. Mr. Super Obama will fix that and I will be forced to either give in to the high cost of insurance or have the IRS take it from me.

If this is Freedom and the best country in the world we have another thing comming. Its called Socialism and if you look down the tracks at the brite lights you'll see it about to run us all down.
