I am currently heating my jobsite with a propane heater. I borrowed two of my neighbor's Blue Rhino tanks and use a couple of my own.
Today I needed to refill the tanks. When I loaded 3 of them in the truck I noticed the Blue Rhino tanks were smaller. Then I saw that they were 15# tanks rather than 20# tanks.
I went to town and stopped at one of the Blue Rhino exchanges. $19.99 for an exchange. They will take your 20# tank and give you back a 15# tank. It would have cost me $59.97 to fill the three tanks.
I drove a few blocks to a local produce stand where they also sell/refill propane tanks. They sell the same propane as the company that services the local Blue Rhino exchanges. It costs me $36,00 to fill all three tanks! And the guy gave my dog a bisquit!
