I Received a phone call that I should take a three-minute survey. After the survey, I was promised a free cruise to the Bahamas. Right away I knew that this was a scam because first of all, I have never signed up for any kind of phone call To my personal cell phone, and by law, Phone companies are not supposed to call you with random phone calls and let you solicit them. Let me just stop here and tell anyone reading this ad: If you receive a phone call And it is a phone generated operator with no real person on the other line Then it is an absolute scam Furthermore, you can sue the company responsible for no less than $500 in small claims court because they are not by law allowed to call your cell phone And start A conversation through a robotic phone operator. The First clue that someone is trying to scam you is that they Will dial your number and as soon as you pick it up there is a Automated voice machine trying to get you to stay on the line and talk to them...
If this ever happens to you, you might as well hang up because it's a complete scam and illegal. Any company that wants to deal with you in a legal manner could possibly Be legitimate, but companies that break the law from the onset are a legitimate companies and will try to take your money and give you nothing in return. I will not go into details about how long I messed with these guys at Blue Line but they put a very good scam on and unless you have half of a brain they could possibly get your money from you. What scammers try to do is lead with your Own Greed, in other words, they will sell you the moon and tell you that you have something coming for nothing and this is where they get you because they know that greed is the number one reason why people give up their money.
If you get a phone call that ask you to take a survey either hang up, or like me, get on the phone and harass them back taking up all of their time since they decided that they were going to take your time Kama you could file a small claims court Docket in these circumstances and win every time but the problem is Trying to get real phone numbers and addresses for these communicators And looser scammers. Most importantly I want to add this: If you have won something from a company, don't pay right away for any kind of services...
What you should do is this colon ask them for the receipt either by email or in your mailbox you can take that receipt and reference it against the Better Business Bureau or other avenues That will Prove whether or not the company is a legitimate company and research them on Google to find out if the company really does exist or not. Most scammers will Try to get your money right away from the first phone call, On the other hand, legitimate companies who give you a free vacation will not ask you for money 4 Port taxes because they are not the Port Authorities... If you're going to pay for taxes you need to pay it to the Port Authorities not to some bumbling college student who's trying to rip you off on a phone call on a Saturday afternoon During your nap. I hope this is helpful to someone and God bless everybody.
