I purchased a replacement lamp for my Samsung HD DLP television online in July of 2009. A one year warranty on any defects accompanied this product. I installed the lamp per the instructions with the lamp and referenced the owner's manual. The lamp functioned properly until May 2010. I contacted the company via the listed email address for questions and help. I was emailed a list of other components to check prior to returning the defective lamp. I corresponded with Jonathan Williams and assured him I would check the other components. This company did not have the other components he asked me to check so I had to order from another company. I installed the lamp ballast and nothing changed. All indications point to the lamp. It is now past the one year and they refuse to honor the warranty. Having been in the automotive manufacturing industry for 20 years I never refused warranty on any component when the failure was noted within the warranty period. I stated my concern to Mr. Williams without any favorable recourse to me. This was and will be my only purchase from this company.. |
