Re: Unauthorized charge of $189 from BluePay Inc.

 

Dear Reviewer,

 

Before I signed a contract with the account manager, Steve Green, from Blue Pay, I told him I would not sign since I did not have the PCI ID for encryption from my current merchant service. He said he would not need it and I just needed to sign. There would not be any fee involved or any obligation to the contract.

 

I sent him photos of my current merchant service machine and I am using computerized integrated credit card which takes the payment from my patients' account directly. BluePay Inc. did not inform me of the integrated system. They sent me a box of machine that does not work with my computer.

 

I cancelled the contract immediately after I received the machine. My assistant and I tried to call for the shipping label address but we did not succeed. A week after the machine arrived, I discovered a charge pending of $189 from my company's account on March 31st. I called BluePay Inc. explaining the situation and requested a label and address to return. A woman from BluePay Inc. gave me the address and said I have to pay for shipping myself. So I did the next day sending and returning the merchant terminal machine back to them on March 31st, 2014. I called on April 11th to make sure they received it and refund the $189.

 

Since they have my routing and account number from my company as a convenience, they just took the money without asking or informing of what it was for.

 

The representative there told me that they would not refund since I signed the contract buying it.

 

I am very upset since I was never told I would have pay for something I don't need and had already returned and they received the machine unused. They left me waiting on the phone for 30 minutes and still did not want to give the refund back.

 

This is an unethical practice of doing business and I am reporting to you and I need you to help me to get this $189 back from BluePay.
