Bluko, GPS, Mike Crook, Lyann Nguyen, Eva Marlink, Kep Sweeney, DJ Polales, Rod Rieman Not the "Home Run" we were promised Ripoff Las Vegas Nevada

After meeting Rod Rieman and his son Brian, we were invited to invest in several opportunities including Bluko (then known as GPS). Rod Rieman convinced us to take out a home equity loan in the amount of $75,000 to invest in this scheme. Having known Rod for a few years, and seeing other investments we had with him doing well (they too have since turned out to be Ponzi schemes) we felt comfortable with the investment. Rod promised a full return of our investment within 1 year and a 3 percent stake in Bluko. It was a "Home Run" we couldn't lose.

Michael Crook and associates gave a presentation to a large group of local investors in Naperville, Illinois, which further convinced us to recommend Bluko to our friends.

After miising the one year repayment deadline, and several deadlines after that, we received a call from the FBI and Illinois securities investigators. Michael Crook and Rod Rieman were being investigated for fraud. Initially we were assured by Rod Rieman that our Bluko funds were safe and we would get our initial investment back in a couple of months. He told us the investigation was due to funds being taken from one account and used to pay debts on another account, but Michael Crook was cooperating with the authorities and would reimburse the misappropriated funds quickly.

We were assured many times (both verbally and by email) by Rod Rieman and individuals at Michael Crook's office that our funds were safe and payments would be made up..."this is still the Home Run I promised you", were Rod words.
About the time that the Court ordered Michael Crook and Rod Rieman to cease and desist in Illinois. They continue operations as Bluko but despite assurances that our Bluko investments would be refunded, it does not appear they will do so without legal action.
