My daughter got a car from Bob Morris Auto Sales and Cory Morris told her if anything went wrong he would make it right within 7 days. The engine light came on and we took the car to Auto Zone and 4 codes came up; one of which was the Catalytic Converter. We took the car to Bob Morris Auto Sales and their mechanic said that no codes came up. That had to be a lie. So we picked the car back up and days later the engine light came on again. We took the car back to the lot and the mechanic checked the car with me there. This time he found the same 4 codes that Auto Zone found. Its funny how they found codes with me there with their mechanic. However, Cory Morris said that they were not responsible to correct the problem. We argued with Cory because he had promised to make it right if anything went wrong with the car. He said it was not covered under their warranty. So he would not fulfill our verbal agreement to fix our car.
After maybe a month, Cory called and needed the car to transfer the title. He now said that he would work with us to have the Catalytic Convertor replaced. We took the car back to the lot on a Monday. I told him I felt that we still should not pay for the repair. I also told him that before any repairs are made, our daughter must approve of any work done because it is her car. Yet, Cory took the car to the shop and had it repaired on Tuesday. On Friday, we called about the car and Cory said our daughter had given her approval and the car was already repaired. Our daughter did not give her approval. Cory said we would have to pay of the repair cost. We went along with Cory and said we would pick up the car on Monday. We went to pick up the car and again said we feel we shouldnt have to pay for the repair. Our oldest called the police and once the salesperson saw us talking to them, he gave us the key to the car. So we didnt have to pay for the repair, but then Cory called our daughter and left a nasty message on her phone. He said that he would never send in the warranty papers and hoped that your parents sue and they would see how nasty he could be.
Two weeks later we decided to protest with signs in front of their business. Within 45 minutes, Cory sent the warranty papers in and even reimbursed our daughter $300.00 for other repairs she had made to the car. So my advice to anyone having an issue with Bob Morris Auto Sales is to PROTEST!; it really works.

Good Going, The dealer I work for tries hard to deal fairly and keep our customers happy. When I read some lowlife has to keep his word, it makes me smile all day long. Great!!

Our oldest did call the police the first time we had problems getting the car after it had been fixed without our permission. Bob Morris Auto Sales called the police (3 police cars came) while we were protesting. We were within our legal rights to protest. We did nothing wrong.
We had contacted BBB about Cory Morris not giving our daughter the warranty for her car. It was only when we protested that we got the warranty.

you have got to be kidding Me you must be a dealer
the dealer made a promise to make the sale then broke his promise
service engine soon lights can be temporarily cleared by dissconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and can last for hours or days depending on driving styles
just because the light is not on when you purchase does not mean the car is good

Bob Morris Auto Sales says we ripped them off? You be the judge! Do you trust Bob Morris Auto Sales who has an F rating with Better Business Bureau? They have 15 complaints against them of which 7 have been unresolved. They are unresolved because Bob Morris Auto Sales has not bothered to respond to these complaints.
While we were protesting in front of their business, we met two people who had issues with them which were never resolved. During our protest, five to six cars honked at us and gave us thumbs up. This gives us the impression that they were either ripped off by Bob Morris Auto Sales or know of someone who was.
During our issues with this company, Cory Morris left a threatening message to our 20 year old daughter. He said don't ever call my business, don't ever come by. If your car breaks in half, then you own both pieces. I will never pay for the warranty and I will never send it in. And I HOPE your parents sue me, and then you'll see how nasty I can be.
I admit that Bob Morris Auto Sales has resolved any issues we have with their company. But we suffered much aggravation and distress over this issue. It was only after we protested, that the issues were resolved. They weren't concerned about us, they were only concerned about people knowing they have a F rating and the way they treat customers. They were only concerned about how this would affect their sales.
By the way, we didn't call 3 police cars over to our protest, apparently they did.
