Case Description:


On December 9, 2015, I purchased 2 packages of "Bobbi Boss First Class Indi Remi Premium Virgin Hair" called "straight natural yaky remi color 1B" at TTZ Hair & Beauty Supply at 1717 E Vista Chino, Palm Springs, CA 92262. I had asked the owner for the best quality human hair and followed her advisement to purchase this. 

The total for both packages was $219.09. (Later I discovered that she charged literally TWO times what Amazon.com charges - that really rubbed me the wrong way, but that is not what this complaint is about.)
The receipt indicated that is was bill #12534, ticket #20055, 2:07pm, sales associate: Tanya Taylor.

I had the hair for 3 wks, yet it  shed, broke, tangled,& matted horribly.
The product has been performing very poorly even after I diligently follow the online care instructions recommended by Bobbi Boss: the hair constantly tangles and sheds excessively. It looks matted within an hour of combing. Furthermore, when I gently comb through it after applying spray-on conditioner using a wide tooth comb, it still has quite a bit of breakage. 
Upon reading reviews on Amazon.com, and other hair product sites, nearly 40% of the reviews by users of Bobbi Boss Indi Remi hair weft extensions have complained that they have had the identical problems I am experiencing. 
The hair looks nappy so quickly, that is causing embarrassment. There is no way that this hair will last long with it's terrible shedding, matting, tangling, and breaking.
I am disappointed because Bobbi Boss said in an email response to my first complaint, "Our company always considers the quality of our products as the most important factor. All our human hair extensions are the highest quality product managed with the quality being the life of the product in each line," yet, this product has been horribly misrepresented and falsely advertised.
I have also read that there have been complaints about the company which have been escalated to the BBB and other consumer protection agencies. These negative reports of Bobbi Boss's apathetic response to consumer complaints is posted on hair forums, black magazines online pages, hair supply sites, amazon.com, etc. 
This was Bobbi Boss's response to my original complaint,"Please be assured that whatever may have caused the problem will be researched
and corrected to provide you continued enjoyment. The product you had purchased may
simply be defective product. Since we do not sell directly to end consumers; our
company does not have a direct customer service department to provide individualized
services. All customer service is done through the retail store where our products are
sold. It will also be easier for you to take the product to the store where you have
purchased. 


I cannot uninstall the hair until I have something better to replace it with, and even then, I will have to pay to have it uninstalled & new hair installed - simply because of this shoddy product. So, I contacted the TTZ Hair store and the owner beligerantly told me that I should NOT have followed any of the care instructions that Bobbi BOss provided, and that becasue I HAD followed their instructions, I had ruined the hair.  She grilled me on everythong I did to the hair - and every single thing I told her, she would cut me off mid-sentence, then give me all the ways I'd done it all wrong the wrong. - - Again, I was so gentle and babied the hair and followed the manufacturer's care advice to a T.

Furthermore, she said she would not give me a refund or an exchange, and that the ONLY thing she would do is let me buy MORE hair from HER store - "at cost".  As if after her verbal attack, I would ever go back to her store again.
