 This is a report about a woman who is very good at her game. She says she is a breeder of show quality silkie chickens. Had I checked Rip Off reports before dealing with her she would never have gotten my $550.00 and caused me an unmeasurable amount of distress has continued for months. The reports of crooked beak birds being shipper to people are absolutely true! Not only does she ship your order filled with crooked beaked birds but sick lame birds as well. Once your paypal payment is recieved she ships your birds. The weather was mild and none of the boxes were damaged in any way but what I received in them was shocking!

Rewind to the phone call we had Dec 5th 2015. I wanted a show quality pair of 6 to 8 month white silkies. A pair of red partridge silkie 6 to 8 months old. 12 show quality chicks. 4 white, 4 buff and 4 porcelain. She had a special going at the time. When you buy a show quality chick you get a pet quality one at no charge. I recieved my shipped birds in 2 days of her receiving my $550 which paid for the birds ordered and their shipping. I opened the poultry boxes the minute they hit the post office. Box one was shocking! A red male silkie with both legs stretched out in front of himself. The large grown out spurs on his legs made it impossible for him to be less than 3 or 4 years old. He couldn't stand much less walk. The ankle on both legs was in a fixed turned in position. His nails were long, splintered and in very poor condition. He would not take water, food and could not stand. His box partner a female red partridge was again much older than I bought and in terrible form. She walked with a limp and now 9 months later still does! She was filthy and poorly care for feet and curled long unkept nails. I then opened the second box to find again 2 much older birds than promised. Both were poorly maintained birds between 3 to 4 years old. Apparent on the male by the long growth of spurs. Both had clusters of lice eggs all around their faces and we're filthy. The female lived about 30 min and the male lived to the next day. In the poultry box containing the chicks were 10 chicks approx a week old. They were of various colors. 2 were already dead and a third died within moments of opening the box. They were covered with loose stool and were very skinny. There were no pet quality chicks shipped with them. One by one I checked the 7 remaining chicks. 3 out of the 7 had seriously crossed beaks. One of the 3 needed to be put down as it could not even take water well.

I contacted Bobbie Porto within minutes of their arrival. She made a bunch of excuses and then hung the phone up. She then went on her Facebook page slammed me making me sound as if I was a scam artist and somehow she was going to be taken advantage of that would be a little hard with my $550 in her pocket. Then the comments from her friends started they were followed by threatening emails threatening text messages and even threatening phone calls to my home when I went back to her Facebook page within a day of this starting she had me blocked I couldn't even comment on what she had started. It continued until I finally quit trying to call her at her various numbers my letters were returned and I was left with no recourse legally as the purchase was made over the internet. Another fact that I was unaware of before the transaction took place.

Be careful for this woman do not buy any silkies from her. Purcell keys on her page are beautiful she sounds sweet and knowledgeable until she screws you and then she turns into a total victim soliciting the support of her friends to call you and threaten you if you don't leave her alone. They tell you that they are good friends that have known her forever and she's such a sweet honest person. That she's the best breeder around and would never cheat anyone. On the other hand she told PayPal that this is simply a hobby and she does not make any money at it. I could go on and on about the theatrics that took place but it breaks down to one thing if you happen to read this report before you do business with her you're lucky much luckier than I was.
