Black Owned Beauty Supply Association - BOBSA New Jersey Online Beauty Supply Store does not send ordered merchandise and is virtually unreachable San Francisco California

I ordered a product from the BOBSA NJ website last month that was supposed to get to me within a week. A week later my product was still being listed as processing on the website. I contacted BOBSA NJ through their website asking about what was going on with my order. With no response a few days later, I contacted them through one of the email addresses. The email came back to me with an error message saying that the email could not be delivered.

I sent an email to another one of BOBSA's emails and it did not come back to me nor did I get any reply. A couple of days later I called BOBSA (now almost a couple of weeks since I placed my order), got the voicemail and left my information telling them what my issue was. No one ever called me back and I proceeded to call them almost daily for the next week or so at a different time each day hoping that I could get in contact with someone. A man picked up once out of the 7 or 8 times that I called and told me that they had the product in stock and that I should have gotten it by now. He took my number down and said that he would call me back.

Needless to say, the man never called me back and meanwhile my order was still listed as being processed. Within a month of placing my order I eventually filed a dispute with PayPal. By then I knew that BOBSA had no intention of sending me the product. BOBSA did not respond to the dispute a week later so I updated it to claim. PayPal ruled in my favor after not receiving any type of response from BOBSA.

I believe that bobsanj.com is a joke because they never made any effort to get into contact with me or with PayPal. If they were serious about doing business they would have promptly responded to my attempts to get into contact with them. BOBSA has numerous online beauty supply stores that are supposed to be hosted in different states. I caution anyone against buying from any online BOBSA store, especially if PayPal is not used, due to their lack of any type of business standards.
