Body Lab Gym Johannesburg Branch in Kempton Park Wellington (Consultant) He unfairly treated me after paying up the money he said i must pay and he lied to my face Johannesburg (kempton Park) Internet

I was unfairly treated by Body lab Gym, i joined the Gym some time in August 2009 and the work that i am currently doing requires a whole lot of travelling i then went back to Body lab and requested a transfer form.

They gave it to me and Wellington who was my consultant he said to me i must pay a transfer fee of R250,00 of which i did pay since it was onthe contract, after 1-2mnths i went to double check if my membership was transfered.

my consulatant Wellington again told me to pay up the outstanding of R338,00 for 2mnths because is a R169,00 monthly. We had a little bit od argument but i paid it up because he promised to transfer it.

In October/November he said it will be very easy to give my membership to someone and i do not have to worry, because no one can turn down the offer of no joining fee. In december i had to do my surgery so i couldn't go up and down to confirm.

This year 2010 i got hit by a bill R676,00 for 4mnths, i became furiouse and paid up R600,00 because i didn't want to be on credit bereau. I cannot waste anymore money on this issue it is very disturbing and has caused a lot of emotions and financial problems in my life.

If in their system is written "member needs a transfer", is then their problem because Wellington didn't advice me to bring another person to take over instead he promised it is his job to do it.

Since i have paid my transfer fee of R250,00 i have lost about R938,00 in Total. I want my money back from this gym, Body Lab appointed liars who take advantage of customers like me who doesn't understand legal document.

the joining fee was R250,00 but because he was so desparate he even said i can pay with a R5,00 and as we were busy with the contract, he didn't explain everything in details, he even validated my membership for 36months.

This guy lied to my face and ripped my money, I have been going up and down talking to different people from the Head offices as well, but nothing seems to happen pertaining to this issue.

I understand their job is to get more people to the gym but not by lying and fraud, i have proof of all the receipt and a voice recording of Wellington recorded by a friend of mine acting as a client.

False advertising/fraud is not tolerable at all, i cannot let this pass without doing something, i am a victim of this gym and i don't want to see this happening to the next person.

The worst part is i never used their facilities and apparently they have only two braches Kempton Park and Pretoria. I relocate in Kempton Park but i have got no time due to my work.
