Bogg's Piano Service Ken Boggs; Danny Boggs Faulty Service, Overpriced Service, Rude, Manipulative, Shady Business Practice Run From Home Westminster South Carolina

 I was needing someone to come and tun/repair my piano and searched the net only to find this company called Boggs Piano Service---What a JOKE!  The older gentleman came out and "attempted" to tune my piano. It took him all of 15 mins, I was astounded when he said he was finished and especially when he handed me the bill of $200!!! No repairs were made, and he said he had "tuned it" but when I began to play it and also my grandson it was terrible and worse than before he came. He had NO instruments with him, just a pair of pliars and a couple of screw drivers. When I had had it tuned before from another company the fellow was there for about 2 hours and used an electronic device to make sure it was in tune. One other thing that REALLY took me aback was the fact that the whole time I was talking to Ken Boggs he could not hear me! Now tell me how in the world can someone tune a piano when they can even hear someone who is talking to them right beside them???! Come to find out this fellow advertises himself as the ONLY one around who does piano tuning when in fact there are several. He also said he goes to church but said several curse words when he was working on my piano to my shock! I also found out that he does not own a "business' but rather works out of his backyard in a garage! It is sad that so many people are duped by this business. I also learned that most of the clients he services are churches. I feel sorry for them! They need to check this guy out. He also offered me a discount for cash instead of check so that also sends off the alarm that he is not paying any taxes on what he rips people off. A lady I know is also related to him and she said he hires people who are on disability and pay them under the table----Sad!
