In April of this year I was contacted by Meridith Cooper of Bonaventure for pricing on balloons for their Grand Opening. Once I worked up a price for 200 balloons along with balloon weights and delivery charges, I phoned Meridith, who agreed to the pricing and ordered the balloons. For their Grand Opening, which was the following Saturday, we delivered 200 helium filled balloons, some of which were tied to weights and, invoiced the company the following Monday, April 30, 2018.
We have yet to be paid, have called, sent statements, complied with all requests to e-mail copies of invoice, fax copies of invoice, talked to accounts payable and left numerous messages which included facebook and phone calls. For all of you saying your loved ones are getting wonderful care, please be advised they are taking your money, feeding their fat faces and not paying local vendors. They are a disgusting company and I would never leave a loved one in their care.

I have been paid

The same day I filed a report with ripoff, I went to the Bonaventure facebook page and wrote a scathing review on not getting paid on that invoice. The fb post was reviewed by someone I believe to be a senior official who immediately took care of the problem. I have been paid in full. May I suggest however, that there be someone at the senior living home responsible to handle such complaints. Certainly, a matter of paying a bill could be handled by accounts payable without having to call for four months trying to find someone to talk to. Having to write an awful review on facebook is not the way accounts payable should be handled. I hope others don't have the same problem.

You have been Paid

This matter has been solved and your company has been paid. Unfortunately the person you named in your complaint was not someone that worked at the community, which is part of the reason there was an issue getting in touch with someone. The moment we heard you had not been paid, we had you send us an invoice directly and you had a check cut and mailed to you that same day.
We wish you all the best.

Executive Director has replied

Within an hour after this comment, I have an update. Since I had already written on Bonaventure fb account, Grant, an executive director, phoned me to say they were not aware of the invoice. He said the company found the bill, wrote a check and it will be in the mail by tomorrow.
The foul up occured because of changes in personnel: a new director, the person who made the original order is no longer there, personnel changes in accounts payable and constant changes in receptionists lead to the problem. I want to thank Grant for taking the time to understand there really was a problem and taking care of it for us.
