After finishing my Bachelor's degree, bookbyte sent me numerous requests to allow them to buy my used text books. I entered the titles and conditions of the books i had and they offered me about 30% of what i had paid (not a good bid) but i thought it would be good to get some Christmas money. They offered a set dollar amount and i packed all five books into one box and sent it insured.

Their email response said that two of the books "had not arrived". (note they were all in the same box) So they did not pay me anything for the most expensive books. When they finally sent a check some weeks later, it was only a small fraction (about 10%) of the amount promised. I sent the company a message which they simply ignored.
