Bovada Online Betting Scam– Free Bonus allows them to keep your money!

This is very simple.  I deposited $50 to Bovada.  I wagered a total of $35 and won $32.90.  Which makes my account total $82.90.  I wagered my winnings of $32.90 and won another $29.91 making my account total $112.83.  Easy enough.

They offered me a bonus for signing up!  How nice of them.  It was 50% of my first deposit and had to be used in the form of a bet.  I won the $25 bonus bet BUT they said I couldn’t cash it out until I wagered a total of $225 of my own money.  No big deal I told them they could just keep the bonus and to cash me out for my $112.83 which is the amount I won on cash bets only.

Here’s where things really get messed up.  They told me that by using the “bonus bet” of $25 I essentially, unknowingly, tied $25 of my cash deposit to the “bonus” and I can’t get it back unless I meet the $225 bonus requirement.

This is what I get for using an online betting site.  I’m not a heavy gambler.  This was actually the first couple bets I’ve made in years, but I thought it might be fun for Super Bowl season. 

Bovada.com and Bovada.lv is nothing but a bunch of scammer trying to find every way to screw their customers by writing into the fine print ridiculous terms that force their customers to make additional bets or they keep your money.  

If you want to make a bet do it the old-fashioned way and go to Vegas, or find a bookie.
