BP Motor club can not or will not contract with any towing services in my area. They will ask you to find your own service to tow you and they will reimburse you up to $250 for the tow. However, they do not tell you that once you file your claim (because they could not provide the service) it will take them up to six weeks for you to receive reimbursement. In the meantime, they will happily charge your credit card your membership fees.
My car was disabled on December 11, filed my claim on December 12 and as of December 28 I phoned to see what was holding up my claim. The CSR told me they recieved it, but it would take at least another two weeks before I saw reimbursement. I asked to speak to her supervisor, was placed on hold and subsequently "disconnected".

What rip off? They have to receve your claim, confirm your coverage, confirm with the provider and then mail a check. Hummm, sounds like you are not being ripped off but serviced much slower than you would like (but pretty reasonable for large business), persoanlly I use AAA. Have never had to file a claim they have coverage.
