BR Courier Expensive computer for recording studio was stolen from BRcourier shipment Pompano Beach Florida

On July, 2008 I sent a TV box (size 24X27X24") with an expensive computer with hardware and software to be used in a recording studio. It was a Christmas gift to my son, who's a musician guitar player.

On November the box arrived in So Paulo almost empty. The box had the sealing tape and my mother received it because it looks OK. When my son open it, he figure it out that the box was too light weighted. But he opened and found out that the main contents were stolen. The box were opened on the bottom. The computer boxes inside were ripped off, then closed with similar tape to look like it was never opened.

I called BR Courier immediately and they sent me an insurance form. I fill it out mentioning what was missing attaching respective receipts. A week later I called them and the BRCourier insurance attendant told me that they cannot refund the stolen items. It was over $2,000 dollars loss.

Em Julho de 2008 eu enviei uma caixa de tamanho 24x27x24 polegadas com um computador muito caro para ser usado num estdio caseiro de gravao. Este era presente de natal para meu filho que guitarrista.
Em Novembro essa caixa foi entregue em So Paulo quase vazia e lacrada pela companhia com uma fita de nylon negra. Quando minha me recebeu esta, no notou nada devido a caixa estar bem fechada.
Quando meu filho a abriu, viu que a caixa estava muito leve e tinha sido cortada pelo fundo. As caixas de dentro que separavam seus contedos tambm foram cortadas e a caixa de fora foi fechada como se nada houvesse ocorrido.
Quando eu recebi a notcia aqui em Miami, chamei imediatamente a BR Courier e me pediram para preencher uma forma de seguro. Uma semana mais tarde eu chamei a eles e fui informado que a Brasil Courier no podia se responsabilizar por nada do ocorrido. Isso foi uma perda de mais de $2.000 dlares.
