Brachfeld Law Group Harassing phone calls, threats, but no information given about this supposed debt. Selgundo, California

My husband began receiving phone calls from this company several months ago and they have become progressively nastier as time goes on. They claim we owe $3000 on a cc that we paid off over two years ago. The cc company in question has no record of us owing them any further monies and it shows on our credit report as paid NOT charged off. We have asked them to stop calling several times and asked for any further contact to be in writing. They have ignored these requests and continue to call, threatening my husband with legal action, calling his military superiors, etc. We have, to date, not received a single thing from them in writing.

After looking them up online I have found hundreds of reports about them taking unauthorized money from peoples bank accounts, threatening and harrassing people in spite of cease and desist letters and other various issues. At this point not really sure what to do.
