I received a call from one of the agent a Mr. Micheal who said he has been mandated to collect a debt that has been sent to the collection of about $1200. He gave me a deal to pay him $444. After accepting I told him to write me a letter to that effect showing that that is what we agreed and that the debt will be removed/deleted from my credit report. He sent me three mails yes, but they read Thiis letter shall serve to confirm that our client has agreed to close the above referenced account for $ 999.28 to be received in 1 payment(s) JANUARY 17 , 20014 $999.28. This letter shall serve to confirm that our client has agreed to close the above referenced account for $ 999.28 to be received in 1 payment(s)and two more one of $52 and $50 having the same message.

I told him that I did noe expect such a letter as it had no commitment at all.

I told him to rewrite the letter with a commitment and include authority from the original owner that he was mandated to do so and all that he shall transact will be binding. also to include the total original figure $1200 to wish will be cleared off with $300. Oh!

Since then he got lost and the phone number given is temporary out of order.
