I Went to the ocala police department in florida on or about april 2007 to file a police report to have a contractor arrested for fraud. I then made an intake appointment with the state attorney's office to discuss my case with the investigator.

In early june 2007 i got a letter dated may 21 st 2007 signed by jeremy powers from the state attorney's office stating that no criminal laws of the state of florida has been violated. This contractor took a deposit of $75,000.00 fully knowing that the marion county licensing review board blocked him from getting any further permits under LRB 2006-38 dated august 8 th 2006.

I called mr powers and told him that one of my witnesses a licensed plumber says that peter zarcone forged his signature on a plumbing permit and did the work himself even though he is not a plumber and the plumber said he sent a letter to the building department stating that he has never been to the subject property and the building department has this letter on file.

mr powers told me that he spoke to the building department and they took care of it themselves and the building department wont cooperate. I then ask mr powers about the list of current projects that mr zarcone filled out for the lender. Current project #2 is located at 5885 NE63 rd street, ocala florida, owned by thane somers and is 51% completed.

However public records shows this property as the primary residence of peter zarcone, owned by peter and his wife karen zarcone and the property was built in 2001. mr powers said that mr zarcone could say he was planning to sell the property to his sister and he wouldn't prosecute for that reason because that's minor.

Even after mr zarcone got a judgement against me using false testimony mr powers still refuse to prosecute.

The state attorney for the fifth judicial circuit of florida has refused to issue a warrant to arrest a marion county contractor who committed fraud and got and got a million dollar judgement against me. The contractor peter zarcone president of southway building corporation in ocala is a well connected contractor and one attorney said he hasn't been arrested because no one wants to prosecute him. why is the state attorney afraid of mr zarcone? mr zarcone testified in court that he was the construction manager for the marion county courthouse when it was being built in 1991, however word on the street is mr zarcone is the straw owner of southway building corporation and the real owner is a marion county public official. mr zarcone has so much connection that his attorney lewis dinkins filed a motion to block my witnesses which included the licensing supervisor of the building deparment from testifying, claiming their testimony would be prejudicial to his client. however, word on the street is judge singbush and attorney lewis dinkins has been friends for many years so i will not have fair trial. After the contractor's attorney lewis dinkins filed a motion to block my witnesses the judge called a meeting of the attorneys in his chambers. About an hour later my attorney Renee Thompson of mateer and harbert came out of the judge singbush chambers and told me "they are getting ready to enter a judgement against you and you have to settle and the contractor wont settle unless you pay him $110,000.00 and i have seen worse." mrs. thompson's husband works for the state attorney's office and she refused to even report this incident to the state attorney for an investigation. I spoke to assistant state attorney jeremy powers at the state attorney's office about a plumber who said that peter zarcone forged his signature on a plumbing permit and did the work himself even though he is not a licensed plumber and the plumber sent a letter to the marion county building department stating that he has never been to the subject property and the building department has the letter on file. mr powers told me that he spoke to the building department and they took care of it themselves and they wont cooperate. why cant the state attorney get the building department to cooperate?
