I was called by a Steve Tucker from this alleged Law Firm. He tried to speak so fast that I couldn't write everything down so I made him slow down and keep repeating himself until I got all the information that I needed to file a report against them. He called my at work, left a voice mail on someone phone that isn't me about some type of "legal matter and that I better call him back Immediately". Well, I did so and they "claim" to have a client who has hired them to collect a debt or they would be taking me to court.
Ok, first of all they say it is a bad check but have no copy of the check. Secondly, they say the check was written in FL and I live in NC. Have all my life. Thridly the stores that they say the checks were written to I haven't ever been in to. So, I will be contacting the thier State Attorney's office and filing a complaint with them as well as the BBB. This kind of mess is a waste of my time and everybody else's that they are trying to rip off.
