A warning for all the parents!
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO BRAINY ACADEMY! I was treated like a lowlife by the staff, and my child absolutely hated everything about this place. From the arrogant teachers, to the worst thing about this shady company - their president, Viktoria ALtman. We were treated like criminals because we didnt match their profile of a perfect parent. It seemed that because we were concerned about the cost of their "education" we were no longer to be respected. I had left my kid there for a trial day and had to rush over there during lunch time, taking off work, because my son was crying, wanting to be taken away from this place. When I complained about the teachers to their president, Ms. Altman, I was told in no uncertain terms that my issues with the teachers would not be considered because I was not a full-time "client". Thats all the kids are to these people - MONEY! They don't care about education, or making sure that the kids are safe. My child told me that the teacher left the room for about 20 minutes, leaving all the children unsupervised, so she could go talk on the phone. This happened while the kids were doing arts and crafts! This means that there were scissors and other sharp objects, and none of the children were supervised. When I brought this up to Ms. Altman, she pretty much laughed in my face - again, because I was not paying her money and my child was only there for a trial day. It seemed like this issue truly did not bother her, as if this this was the norm at this "brainy academy". This totally does not makes sense! How can they leave 5-7 year olds children unsupervised like that for such a prolonged time! When I spoke to Ms. Altman she was completely rude, totally dismissing my concerns. There is NO WAY I would trust a woman like that to properly make sure that my kids are cared for. This organization is a total scam! If under this lady's leadership teachers can walk out of the classroom and leave the children alone, WHAT ELSE ARE THEY LETTING THEM GET AWAY WITH?! This company should be shut down! I will be reporting them to the BBB. BE AWARE - DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS H***HOLE. KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE AND AWAY FROM MS. ALTMAN!

My child goes to brainy academy and I remember this incident very clearly. There was me plus a group of parents who were sitting and watching the whole thing happen. Parents are advised to sit in the waiting area and watch the cameras that point to the classroom so we can know what it going on. This parent had left their absolutly disruptive and crazy child by themselves on their first day in the class and left. This child not only disrupted the intire session but was also extremely aggressive and served as a danger to our children. When the child was taken out of class by the teachers in order to protect the children in there, the parent was nowhere to be found and would not answer her phone. Finally she came back and when she was told about the incident that the child posed a danger to other children she was furious and started making up stories and yelling at the owner. The owner viktoria is a nice woman always willing to help in any way. The staff is amazing and would never leave a child alone let alone a whole class. Cell phones are turned off as soon as they enter the classroom and they only focus on their children. If anything was wrong that day it's the crazy child whose parents can't keep under control. Brainy did the right thing by not allowing the child to return. My child has been attending for a long time as well as the other parents from the class and never have we had any problems with the teachers or the owner viktoria.
