my name is albert
i have been with BB@T branch banking and trust here in bowling green for 5 years they were great when i first came here and then here it came the fees 34.00 dollars a popit got to the point i was working for the bank so every week i was working for the bank they would hold my check until something would bounce and then my check would be put in minus there wonderful fee!!!i tried to get money out of my acct and of course they said my money has not been deposited but it was there covering all my late fees added so after we closed my acct and my wife getting a little excited they let me have my 71 dollars and some change out of almost 500.00 dollars!!!

Call, write, email, fax the Commissioner of Banks in your state, your state Senator, and your Govenor. BB&T is now allowed by law to hold and debit accounts "at their discretion". They should be required by law to process debits as they are received/authorized. They should not be allowed to hold deposits for unreasonable lengths of time. The technology available today seldom takes days to determine if funds are available. FIGHT BACK! Help change the laws/regulations.
