Brand-In Entertainment (Rolfe Auerbach) Took 10,000 dollars, did not return it Marina Del Ray California

Against my better judgment, I hired Rolfe Auerbach to do product integration for my feature film, which we shot in January, 2018.

Rolfe VERY aggressively asks for up-front money, and we ended up paying him 10,000 dollars, but we included in our contract that if he had not closed any product placement deals for our film by January 15th (which was a week before filming was to begin), he was to return us the full 10K.

Well, Rolfe did not close any deals, and he did not return our money. It is now May 1st, we have still not been paid back, and he is in CLEAR breach of his contract. For the last month and a half, Rolfe has been saying he is "working on getting our money back to us", but has not done so. We have filed a small claim against him, as well as a second case for damages. 

Whatever you do--filmmakers, DO NOT USE THIS GUY. He is a full criminal, and will take your money and you won't see it again.
