Brand Surveys Scam. The offer was for a $500 Visa Gift Card to fill out surveys on specific products. Mine was Chevy vs Ford. I had just bought a new Ford and thought it had something to do with that. Once I was directed to the site, I found that if I filled out a few surveys and completed several of the offers, I would get a $500 Visa gift card.

They start in small steps, you fill out one or two offers then you're directed to step 2 (you don't know how many steps you have to go through in the beginning or I would have quit). I fullfilled that offer, then step 3 (you're already in and think you're almost done), I fullfilled that offer then find out that the offers have to report that you've indeed sign up for their services. Some of the services are specific and have a predetermined requirement ie: you have to be a paid member for 60 days. I chose not to fill out those offers, instead I signed up for others.

After a couple of weeks, I checked the status of my account and found that several of the companys I signed up with had not reported my membership. I emailed Brand Surveys via their online email form (you can't see an actual email address). I did not receive a response. I emailed again, threatening to go to the BBB or Attorney Generals Office because I'm sure this is a SCAM! I got a reply that time only to say that they have to wait to get confirmation from those companies saying I fullfilled the requirements.

My last email to them was a statement, that I would complain to whatever governing agency that would listen...still no reply, no Visa Gift Card...and I'm still a paying member of the services I signed up for. However, just last week, I canceled the one of the membership deals after they charged my card $144 (for a product I never received)--are they all in kahootz?

Anyway...I guess this is a lesson learned. Name brands, such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Chevy and Ford...should be wary of using these online survey panels as a marketing tool...it gives them a bad name. I'm very disappointed and wonder with the bad press BRANDSURVEYPANEL.COM is getting on sites like Ripoffreport.com, how they can remain in business.

After a little more research...it appears they use many different business names. Google their phone number: (561) 674-9700.

Beware...they do not give the gift they are offering!
