Here is our exact response to the complaint:

Dear Terri,

Sorry for the delay! You caught us away on vaction. This is the only time of year we have a chance to excape for a while. I got your voicemail and left you one but I never received your email for some unknown reason. Your new huaraches were mailed on 11/23/07 via Priority Mail tracking #0103 855 7493 2317 2757. So please let the consumer be the judge. The person complaining (using a false name) states the she consistently called and sent emails. This is not true. We received a voice mail message which I answered and left a voice message while on vacation in South America. I got no email. When we returned I immediately mailed her shoes first thing. She states that she never got an apology but look at the apology above which she received. She could have at least acknowledged it in her follow up but made no mention.

A very few people are so mean. We have been doing business as Brand X Huaraches for 35 years since 1972. We can count on the fingers of one hand the number of complaints (all resolved favorably) we have had with several fingers left over.

So you be the judge. We make a very high quality product which is 100% guaranteed.

ps: I didn't notice this before or I would have answered long ago. Be wary of reviews you read. Some write for reasons other than to make a fair complaint.

After a month! No apology, no explanation, just a ship notice. I'm not sure whether my report here facilitated this or the complaint I filed with the BBB.
