Over a 2 day period in February 2010, Brandon DiBernardo frequented our business for services and also purchased a fair amount of retail. All 3 checks he wrote were returned as they were written on a closed account. We made several attempts to contact him, to no avail. We ultimately turned it over to the DA but are still owed the money. He also no showed on another appointment shortly after the fraudulent checks were presented.

Today, 2/10/2011, Mr. DiBernardo came with a cashier's check for the full amount owed plus bank charges. We appreciate his making good on his debt and rescind our complaint.

I am the individual reported and since I have no way to have this report removed would like to simply state a few facts.
To my knowledge, and I know which retail location this is that is filing the report, I have not been contacted about this since around the time it occurred. Additionally, when I was contacted I immediately provided the funds to the individual that used most of this business' services (which was not me). She had been contacted by this business as well. The individual supposedly provided the funds in cash to the business in question.
The checks came back in the first place due to an account closure by my CFO. I was unaware of this closure and had no intention for the checks to be returned. I've actually searched for any complaints like this due to the same type of situation I'm having to deal with now, and I found this report. If something like this has happened and I am aware of it, it would be taken care of as soon as possible.
Regardless, I will get in touch with the business this week and will provide payment and ask for this complaint to be updated and for any complaint with a DA to be withdrawn.
