after purchasing a new 2005-f150 for my stepson, one year later (i live in tampa, ste-son, in atlanta, my steps-son (who has never purchased a car on his own, wento the dealership to inquire about a extended warranty, left brandon ford with a new 2006 Rousch high-performance truckat a cost of $40,000. the odd part of this scenarion, is the 2005 was titled in the state of Georgia, which requires ALL owners to sign-off on any tranaction of that vehicle. i was never contacted by brandon ford, that my step-son was there, no sales person called me to ask if i would permit this tranction to take place and i never signed any paperwork to allow the legal trade-in of the orignial truck i co-purchased for him. i immediately filed a report with the Hillsborough CPOunty DMV, who, after investigating my complaint, found in my favor, that Brandon Ford indeed comitted forgery violated Florida Statutes 319.33(1) unlaful for dealer to retain or use an alterered or forged certificate or assignment. i have actual copies of the documents that illustrates my name (very apparent not my handwrting or signature) on the titlework used to get the Georgia title and re-seell the vehicle. Brandon Ford was more interested in selling my step-son a $40,000 vehicle than following the law, as i NEVER would have allowed my step-son to go an additonal $25,000 in debt, when the original 2005 would have been paid off and owned free adn clear in less than a year or so. Brandon Ford has lawyers who rebuked my original letter, making statements about Florida law. This has nothing to do with florida law, as the truck was taken to a titled in Georgia. if you are going to do business with Brandon Ford (I NEVER WILL AGAIN), you had btter be careful, as the pressure to sell is at an all-time high for the employees that works there....conveniently, the person who i beleive forged my name to get the tite from Georgia, no longer does.......Mr Wayne Hammond has not heard the last from me

UPDATE ON PREVIOUSLY POSTED NOTICE - after purchasing a new 2005-f150 for my stepson, one year later (i live in tampa, stepson, in atlanta, my steps-son (who has never purchased a new car on his own, went to the dealership to inquire about an extended warranty, left brandon ford with a new 2006 Rousch high-performance truck at a cost of nearly 3X of the 2005 truck cost. the odd part of this scenario, is the 2005 was titled in the state of Georgia, which requires ALL owners to sign-off on any transaction of that vehicle. i was never contacted by brandon ford, that my step-son was there, no sales person called me to ask if i would permit this transaction to take place and i never signed any paperwork to allow the legal trade-in of the original truck i co-purchased for him. i immediately filed a report with the Hillsborough County DMV, who, after investigating my complaint, found in my favor, that Brandon Ford indeed comitted forgery violated Florida Statutes 319.33(1) "unlaful for dealer to retain or use an alterered or forged certificate or assignment". i have actual copies of the documents that illustrates my name (very apparent not my handwriting or signature) on the titlework used to get the Georgia title and re-sell the vehicle. Brandon Ford was more interested in selling my step-son a vehicle costing 3X as much as the original vehicle, than following the law, as i NEVER would have allowed my step-son to go an additonal $25,000 in debt, when the original 2005 would have been paid off and owned free and clear in less than a year or so. The 2005 truck was taken in and re-sold to another person, without my signature on the title work. Brandon Ford has lawyers who rebuked my original letter, making statements about Florida law. This has nothing to do with florida law, as the truck was taken to and titled in Georgia. if you are going to do business with Brandon Ford (I NEVER WILL AGAIN), you had better be careful, as the pressure to sell is at an all-time high for the employees that works there....conveniently, the person who i beleive forged my name to get the title from Georgia, no longer does.......The GM at Brandon Ford has not heard the last from me, as other paperwork has been collected further reinforcing this claim.

Mr. Wayne Hammonds lawyer, William Bromogen, rebuked my claim, filed with the BBB of Tampa, stating my claim was unfounded and cited all of these issues regarding purchasing and having a vehicle titled in Florida. the truck i co-purchsed for my stepson was NEVER titled in Florida. It was titled in Georgia,(we paid the GA taxes at Brandon Ford and it took them several months to send those tax monies to the county my stepson did reside) where ALL owners not "and" nor "or" are applicable when trading, selling the vehicle. in essence, the trade my stepson was talked into, was illegal, as I NEVER signed any docuemtn giving Brandon FOrd permission to take the 2005 F-150 in on trade for a $40,000 high-performance Rousch truck which was driven off the Brandon Ford lot, directly to Atlanta, GA. As my stepson's mother is severly ill with several immune diseases and now has suffered several strokes over the past 6 months, this entire issue has become a major item within our household.
