My upstairs airconditioning was not cooling as well as it had been. The technician, Nelson, came out to look at it. It turned out that the wywtem was low on refrigerant and the condenser coil needed to be cleaned out. In addition to the trip fee and the cost of the refrigerant, they charged me $145.00 to spray out the coil with the garden hose. It took 10 minutes. He didn't even bother to tell me how much it was going to cost before he did it. I was shoked when I saw that on the final bill. I believe I have been ripped off big time for the cost of cleaning out thisw coil using my own water and my own hose without even knowing how much it would cost prior to being done. I will never use this company again.

There are always two sides to every story...The technician discussed with the customer services needed to be done to get his system running. Technician indicated he was not aware the customer didn't want his coil cleaned. Customer was standing there watching technician perform the work after he explained the problem. Customer called the office and spoke with a manager regarding repair amount. The $145.00 was promptly refunded to Customer because of the miscommunication. The customer received check and cashed it 8/10/2015. Brandons' Comfort Specilists has excellent ratings and customer service. The situation was immediately resolved with customer.

UPDATE. I contacted Brandon's and they said that when they clean out the condenser coil that they use a chemical solvent. I watched the guy do it and he didn't use any cleaner of any sort other than the water out of the hose. The manager told me that she would need to talk to the tech and call me back, which she did. She agreed to cut me a check for $145.20. I'll update this again once I get the check and it clears my bank.
