Branson Get Aways ripoff scam dishonest non-customer service orienteted Branson Missouri

I was browsing the internet for hotels and show in Branson, MO. I had filled a request out to receive more information on things to do in branson and hotels. I received a phone call from Branson Getaways, Branson Tourism Center. They told me that they had a wonder vacation package deal.

The vacation package consisted of 3 days and 2 nights and discounted tickets to various shows etc.... I booked the 3 days and 2 nights and Dixie Stampede tickets for $328 and some change. They told me IF i toured thair Fairfield Resort I could save $50 more on my package. I said uh uh.

Well, we traveled all the way to Branson and when I got there they had me over the coals. They said I had to initial that if I didn't visit Fairfield Resort, I had to pay full price of the package. I said well, can we do it this evening? We arrived after driving 5.5 hours at 2:00 p.m. The girl at the counter stated no, that you cannot tour the day of, or the day your leaving and also did not offer me my Silver Dollar City tickets, which were also supposed to be discounted to me in the package. I had to order them seperate from SDC directly and charge another $127 for 2 adults and 1 child ticket. Well rooms were booked up and I went ahead an initialed, however, I had no other choice cause everything was sold out when we got there. I had assumed that if we didn't do the tour, we didn't save the $50, and We only had one day to hit Silver Dollar City which takes about 2 days to tour, of which they wanted us to visit fairfield resort at 11:00 a.m. for 2 hours which wouldn't give us much time at Silver Dollar City. I am now disputing the additional charges with my Discover Card that they charged to my account $110.30 which I called them about and said that's what fairfield additionally billed them. This is such a rip-off and a scam.
