Brant Holloway - R & B Studio Design with the $5000.00 Home Theater system with the disappearing projector strikes AGAIN at Highland Utah Mesa Arizona

1/18/2008 I was leaving the Highland Post office located in the Family Vidio & Book store when this individual pulled up and asked me if I was from this area. He said he was not and was looking for direction. I told him that I was from this area. He said that he was delivering home theater systems to 2 spec homes and the secretary him the that the builder was stuck in Vernal, Utah. He wanted to know how far Vernal was away. I told him that is was a 4 hour drive each way. He told me me that he had to deliver 2 more systems to a contractor at 106th South in Sandy at 1:pm. He also had to catch a plane at the Salt Lake airport at 2:pm. He said that his manager stated that he could write the system off as damaged and not ship them back to Arizona as the cost would be to much. He would only need $432 which would cover the Arizona tax for each unit. He proceeded to tell me about the unit. He showed me the invoice, his business card, his Arizona drivers license and the credit card with his name on them. The credit card was used to purchase the 4 systems he had with him. He showed me a very nice magazine artical that stated the value of this equipment was almost $5000.00 per unit. He stated he was the owner of R & B Studio Design company. Each system had WIRELESS speakers. The bulb in the PROJECTOR had a two year warranty. The system does not come with a screen, but if I wanted one he could help me with that. Otherwise, he said to show the picture on a flat white wall which they do in the spec homes. This system is Blu Rae compatible.

From all indications this was a no brainer deal. The origional box was still strapped with manufacture label strapping tape. I indicated that I was interested. He wanted to know if I knew of someone else who would be interested in the other system. I called my son and handed my cell to Brant and they discussed the unit. He closed the cell and handed it back to me and said he did not want one. I then told him I would buy one. He said that he would need to have certified check or money order for $432.11 made out to him. I went to the Highland branch bank and secured a certified check made out to Brandt Holloway. He did not want cash!! I handed him the check and he gave me a hand written receipt and stated he had called and had the warranty signed over to me. He wanted to put the unit in the back of my truck but I said no and it was full of snow. I told him I lived on the way to 106th South and he agreed to deliver it. he followed me to my home where he unloaded ths system in my garage. He again wanted to know how to get to 106th South in Sandy and I told him. He said if you come to Mesa, Arizona give me a call. He also told me if I heard from my son about the other system, he would be around for a couple of hours and then he was gone.

About an hour later, I opened the small box to look at the projector. NO projector, just a speaker and power system. I opened the big box and there was only speakers and they were NOT WIRELESS. I then called Holloway to see if there was another box. He wanted to know who was calling and I told him. I asked him what box the projector was in and he said the small one. I told him that it wasn't in that small box. He said there is a problem but he said he was on an other call and would call me back. He has not called back yet.

DESCRIPTION Holloway was last seen driving a late model WHITE GMC Yucon with Arizona plates. He is in his late 20s or early 30s, short lite brown hair, weight 150 to 170 lbs, slender build 5'7 to 5' 9 inches tall.

When I starting to research the system and the scam on the internet, whoo,
birds of a feather flock togeather. You can buy this system on Ebay for a little over $200.00 and that is a far cry from the $4,799.00 printed on the box!! I have spoken with a lady who has a like system given to her as a gift and its for sale at $150.00
