Breeders Association Of America Rip Off Artists At Their Finest Brick New Jersey

On April 10, 2009 I purchased a female boxer puppy from above said establishment. Almost from the day the puppy came home is exhibited signs of illness. Vomiting, Digesive Problems, She has something that resembled a seizure, but it went undiagnosed, and the most scary and frightening part of the whole ordeal was the dog's lack of weight gain. They kept telling me to increase the amount of food I was giving her, but how does a dog that constantly vomits gain weight?

I was in constant contact with the establishment about the puppy's poor condition, they were basically no help. I told them there was clearly something wrong with the dog and I wanted a refund they refused and I was told that I could bring my dog back in exchange for any puppy I wanted, but they would not under any circumstances issue me any refund. In the meantime the dog's condition worsened, even the vet was concerned. He made a call to the pet store they agrred to pay for some minimal testing for her which of course came back inclonclusive.

For months me and my children felt like we were watching this poor animal die a slow and painful death and I could not get any help from anyone. Finally on her last trip to the vet which was July 11, 2009 the vet described the dog's condition as "completely and totally emciated". He stated that the dog would need much diagnostic testing to try and get to the root of what the illness was and that it would be very costly. I explained I coud not afford that and he then agreed to call the pet store again in my behalf. But I must also mention that this particular vet works in conjunction with the Breeders Association that is why he refused to issue me an "Unfit For Purchase" letter he clearly did not want to rock the boat with them yet he clearly saw the poor condition of the animal.

They refused to pay for any more diagnostic testing and once again made the offer to bring the dog back in exchange for any other puppy I wanted. I told them no way, under no conditions would I accept another animal from them after what I had been through with this one, it was absolute sheer torture, and me and my family were not willing to accept that and I wanted a full refund, tey of course refused again. Well on July 18th 2009 in the middle of my daughters sweet sixteen party the dog became so violently ill that everyone was scared some people were even crying. The dog was clearly dying. I did not know what to do.

I called the vet they were closed and then called the pet store and began my argument with them once again. First they said bring the dog back, then they said take the dog to an emergency vetrenarian hospital. I expained i could not possibly afford that and I was scared to death that the dog was dying. They kept putting me on hold and coming back with a different answer. Finally they agreed to let me bring the dog back into the store but once again refused a refund and under total duress they made me sign a slip for store credit which clearly states "NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THIS"
They also told me I could sell the store credit to someone who wanted to purchase a puppy from them yet it clearly states on the paper that the credit is NON-TRANSFERRABLE. When I got there with the dog i was approached by 2 of the most uncaring, calus, calculating people that I have ever met. They cared nothing about the condition of the dog or the mental condition I was in. I was so upset I ws in tears I told them how unfair and sick they were, but none of it mattered.

Since they made me sign over all rights to the dog when they took her back I have absolutely no idea what happened to her. Did she die? Did they put her down? Did they invest the money to try and find out what was wrong with her? I have no clue and unfortunetly never will cause I highly doubt they will talk to me if I called them. These people should really be put out of business for good. They are horrible, scheming, scam artists that care nothing about the true welfare of the animals or the people that they sell them too all they care about is how much money they can rip you off for. It really is a true shame and somethng should be done to get this establishment closed down forever so no more innocent animals or people can get hurt.
