Brenda and Associates Unauthorized charge of $4.93 on my debit/atm card on 4/25/2011 Lady Lake, Florida

I use Quicken and synchronize transactions in my bank account at least once a week. I also login to my bank's website to see what if any charges are still pending and therefore not included, yet, in Quicken. I was surprised to see a charge of $4.93 from BRENDA AND ASSOCIATES 352-350-7634 FL on 4/23/11.

My wife did some research on Brenda and Associates on Monday 4/25 and found a number of complaints, most here on Ripoff Report. She then called the bank to alert then about what she had found. They immediately agreed to reverse the charges and determined that my Debit card was used in this phony transaction. They cancelled my card immediately and are sending a replacement. BTW This is a benefit of banking with a smaller local Bank not one of those enormous, too big to fail Banks. 

The major question now is how did BRENDA AND ASSOCIATES get my Debit card info????  I use my card all the time both locally and online and have not heard about any major data theft incidents lately. Some of the other reports on this site state that the charges of $1.93 or $4.93 (like mine) are for videos. I do have an account with Netflix that used my debit card for monthly fees. Is there a a pattern here?
