Green Tree Mortgage or Green Tree Servicing They purchased my mortgage, they lost a payment in May and will not reimburse me nor help, I have insurance and they are charging me for homeowners insurance. I had to figure this out myself, there was NO letter sent to me telling me they need proof of insurance. Rapid City South Dakota

Green Tree Servicing purchased my mortgage in May 2014.  I made the May payment through my previous mortage holder.  They did not transfer.  Green Tree is charging me late fees.  Also, I pay my own homeowners insurance.  I just found out in Oct that Green Tree is charging me homeowners insurance however they did NOT send me a letter that they needed proof of insurance, again The said Everhome Mortgage did NOT transfer the files and the May payment to them. So, their blaming Everhome Mortgage.  The truth is Green Tree did NOT review the file nor will they clear the may payment up.  I've contacted them over 13 different times and continue to talk numours people, received numours fax and mailing address to send proof of payment.  This company needs to be fined and there needs to be a government offical involved.
