BRENTWOOD COMMUNICATIONS REPRESENTED THAT THEY COULD CHANGE KVH ANOALOG ANTENNA TV TO HD ON BOAT...SETS WERE WORKING PROP[ERLY PRIOR TO BOGUS WORK DONE BY REPAIRMAN...AFTER BEING HANDED INVOICE FOR $1750.00 SETS WERE NOT FIXED PROPERLY AND SAME PROBLEM EXISTS BLURRED PICTURE..PAID NOT WANTING TO HAVE ANY CREDIT ISSUES AT LATER DATE WITH CREDIT AGENTS BUT THIS WAS OUT RIGHT FRAUD.... LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA

brentwood communctions hired from yellow pages to covert kvh analog sat system on boat to hd reception, they said no problem and could fix problem taking no more than 2 hours at rate of $100.per hr. i said fix knowing that all the exsiting cables and spliters were wqorking properly.
contracted brentwood for repair as they said it was a normal fix no problem normal fix no problem as this is their business.....all tv's in boat were working and new cables were installed prior to their starting starting work, hdmi, spliters coxal etc....
brentwoodstarted took new cables and other parts that were working, replaced with what they said were better , however they were just building and padding time and material to run up large invoice.....
upon complection of their work..handed invoice for $1750.00, looked with surprise and ask to turn on tv, same picture as prior to their repairs blurred picture on screen, questioned why, they said best they could do and could not fix problem..
i paid them because i could see from the way they were dealing that hadc i held back or made any adjustment to invoice, they would have tried other means by turining me in for collection or other ways to damage my good credit.............
feel this company brentwood communications is a ripoff company and others should be made aware........

Mr. Arnold Fazekas contacted us stating he purchased a new TV’s and tried to hook it up himself and could not get a picture on it from his satellite and also could not get a picture on the TV in his kitchen, as well the bedroom TV’s downstairs stopped working.
When we got there, we found the system was wired with old coax and set to operate on NTSC tuner channel 3. The new TV’s he bought were 16x9 HDTVs and had only ATSC Tuners.
We rewired his TV’s from his Satellite receiver, contacted Direct TV on his behalf, replaced the receiver and had both TV’s upstairs working when we left as well as the ones downstairs in the bedroom. We fixed a broken wire in his master bedroom TV as well and programmed that TV to work on one remote.
Unfortunately, we could not get him the picture he desired with the equipment he had. We also rerouted the wires he had run as it was being pinched on his TV lift.
We determined his satellite was not an HD type, and it would need to be replaced. We even contacted the company who installers maritime HD satellites dishes and advised Mr. Fazekas of the cost. He declined to spend the money as he said he was selling the boat.
Had Mr. Fazekas researched what equipment he had before he purchased the wrong new equipment he might not have had this problem. He asked us to get his TV’s working with the equipment he had and that is what we did.

I am a Broadcast Tech and guys like that hack tech make me sick...contact the FCC and file a complaint.
You can also file a complaint with consumer protection..in Ca contact B.E.A.R - The Bureau of Electronic and Appliance repair..they are in the phonebook under State Consumer protection, or the website is -
