After defrauding me and many others in real estate transactions, he made a fortune. He will "convince" you that he is the only one that can help you. I, like many others he's deceived, cannot afford to retain legal counsel to fight an ex-felon who is probably worth millions of dollars and attempts to instill fear into his victims. No one wants to come forward after he deceives them. They are either embarrassed or afraid. What is especially ironic is that if you Google his name, he belongs to an Orthodox Synagogue: Temple Ahavat Shalom in Palm Harbor, Florida. Apparently, if you are a Gentile, he doesn't care what he does to you. It's about the money. He wants YOUR money in HIS pocket.

After some research online, I discovered he changed his name in Miami a few years ago to Ze'ev Bar-El, and also uses the name Zev Bar-El, probably a deceptive practice to continue his unethical, immoral and illegal practices. Most former criminals don't change their names unless they're looking to continue their wrongdoing. The state of Florida did not do their due diligence. The state of Florida continues to let him work as a real estate agent which requires licensure. How does an ex-felon with the above-mentioned convictions get licensed in the same state? A Wikipedia search reveals: http://www.corporationwiki.com/Florida/Tampa/brett-muscatell-pa-5087430.aspx and he operates his business under the name ZB Equities as listed in www.sunbiz.org. 

It appears Mr. Muscatell/ Bar-El works for Signature Realty as of this posting: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/LicenseDetail.asp?SID=&id=CDCED167DF05EB253EB2C03344C2D773 which makes you wonder what kind of real estate firm would not do their homework in hiring an ex-felon or would choose to be associated with one. A Google search reveals he's worked for multiple real estate firms which is another red flag. They probably figured out what he was doing.

Look through public records of the various Florida counties. He is often designated as a Defendant in multiple cases. It appears he connived other desperate homeowners to sign the deed over to him in trust, and the homeowners were left holding the bag on the mortgage when the banks foreclosed. There are at least 10 pages of court cases in which he is either a plaintiff or defendant. Regardless of which, ask yourself if 10 PAGES of lawsuits is "normal" in any sense of the word, let alone for a licensed professional. That's just ONE County.
