On Dec. 7 I recieved a letter, dated Oct.28, 2009 by mail that stated I had won a sweepstakes that I do not remember entering.  Enclosed was a "cheque" for $3,980 intended for the state tax for my winnings of $150,000.  The company name on the check is Gatterdam's Electric Motor Repair, Inc. in Louisville, KY and it is dated Nov. 23, 2009. 

All I have to do is call someone named Nicole Hamilton at 905-781-5263, which is an Ontario number, to activate the check and then deposit it into my account.  I am to send this Nicole Hamilton money, in the amount of $2,920 by way of Western Union for the state tax, the rest is mine.

 This letter goes on to say that I must fax a copy of this transaction to 416-352-5546. At first I was excited and thought maybe my ship had come in but I still had reserves, so I did some research and found that it's too good too be true!!! I am not going to cash this check and I hope these people get caught before they really damage someone's life.
