Mike Swanson (Selective LLC), assuming that is his name, contacted me on behalf of Brian Roff (Selective LLC), via a resume on an internet employment board. Offer me an independent contractors job selling Generac, Honda, and Duromax generators. $5999/ month salary plus a commission on sales. I signed their contract Nov.27, 2017. THANKFULLY, I only sold 2 before having internet issues! Both were sold Dec. 4th & 5th. It is now Jan 4, 2018 and NEITHER has been delivered. Mr. Swanson hasn't communicated with me since I called for an immediate resolution to the delivery issues Dec. 23, 2017! Mr. Roff has NEVER responded to my message. Charges have been filed against Mr. Swanson, Mr. Roff, and Selective LLC. A "company" that does NOT show on CA. nor WA. Secretary of state web portals. I am owed $2200.00 for mechandise sold under my companies account AND $7,998.80 in base pay since signing. Not a penny offered for compensation!

#5 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mike Swanson, aka Mike Palm, aka Mike Palmer, Brian Roff complete frauds

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, April 16, 2018

I too ws a victim of these con men.  I do know this, I transferred money from my bank account to Brian Roff's Chase bank account to pay for the delivery of a Generex generator.  So we do know that Brian Roff is apparently a real person as he has a bank account at Chase Bank.  I have his account number plus the deposit slips.  I have tried numerous times to contact both Brian Roff and Mike Palm, aka Mike Palmer, aka Mike Swanson.  Every time I call the phone hangs up on me.  No voice mail, just a hang up.  These dirt bags are advertising on Indeed.com for sales representatives.  They have ads in California, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennesee and Texas.

Mike Swanson, aka Mile Palm, aka Mike Palmer, aka Energy Savers, LLC

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, April 15, 2018

These scumbags are usining EBay accounts of sales reps and their Paypal accounts to sell generators whch are never delivered to the buyer.  The buyer pays using Paypal or another merchant account.  Mike Palmer or Mike Swanson or whatever other name he goes by then has the sales rep transfer the money from their bank account to Brian Roff's Chase bank account, whis is the apparent CEO of Energy Savers.  This is a TOTAL scam!   Mike Palm, aka Mile Palmer aka Mike Swansons cell number is 3102287037.  These dirtbags need to be reported to the state attorneys office!

Regarding Mike Swanson / Brian Roff / Selective llc

AUTHOR: Brian - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 16, 2018

I too fell for this scam after coming across a ad on Craigslist. $5900 per month + 25% commission selling generators using my own eBay and PayPal accounts. The scum I was dealing with calls himself "Mike Palmer"  and was representing a company called "Tools Unlimited llc." He accidentally divulged the company owners name of Brian Roff and through a search I found the scam on this site (Thank God). I sold one generator but luckily had not yet forwarded the money to the perpetrators. These guys are well organized and talk a good game, and I'm sure they'll be back with a new scam in no time.

#1 Consumer Comment

This is clearly a scam and I am one of the customer affected

AUTHOR: reivde - (Puerto Rico)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 10, 2018

I am a consumer affected by this scam.

I saw a guy selling a Honda and Generac Generators online. He had good reviews so I trusted him. He sent me a legit invoice throught PayPal of $1,475.00 which I paid.

He told me, item must be shipped within 3-4 business.

I waited and nothing happened...I contacted him about tracking info and he told me I should contact this Mike Swanson and gave me his phone number since he was just an employee working for him in a company called Tools, LLC.

I Googled this name and I came to this website.

Seems like this person didn't know he was working for a scammer and now he is in trouble since he told me he was using his eBay account for this.
