I placed the order for the dress on July 8, 2008. I "live Chatted" with a representative regarding availability of the size I thought I needed, based on their size charts. I ordered a dress 2 sizes larger than my normal size, as that is what was recommended to me. I asked when it would be available to ship and "Kim" informed me they were expecting a shipment with my size at the end of the month. She suggested I indicate to "reserve out of end of July shipment so I can have it around beginning of August" That was perfect, as I was going to be gone on business the week of the 14th of July. (of which I have little or no access to email while traveling) I received an email indicating the dress was being shipped and would arrive July 15th. I did not open the email (as I did not have access to my email) until I returned home on Friday July 18, of which time, the dress had arrived. I had a memorial service to attend on Saturday, July 19 out of town, and was not able to try on the dress until Sunday July 20. The dress was huge. I called Tuesday July 22 to get the return authorization number and was told I had to take a store credit that I had 3 days to call them for a return. I explained my situation and they said, too bad. So, I have returned the dress and have yet to a credit on my credit card or in any other form. I have not been contacted by the company. I have documentation that the return was received on July 25, 2008. I have disputed this with my credit card company and they are not doing much either. I signed the return agreement, which I fully understand,and did so based on the information I received from Kim, that the dress was not going to ship until the end of July. I would have been home during that time period to receive and try the dress on immediately. I have asked for a credit on my credit card and was denied. I was offered an exchange, however, I do not wish to buy anything from a vendor that gives inaccurate advice and poor service. I have made 4 phone calls to the owner,of which none have been returned. I have purchased another dress, from a full service Bridal Shop, which gave me IMPECTABLE Service, the dress size was 14 NOT 20. I was accused of getting married and wanting to return the dress. (How do I know you didn't get married and wore the dress?) Completely INSULTING! I have pictures to prove I did not! Also, the wedding was in September, not July! So far to date, the owner has yet to return my calls or send me a "credit" good for a year...in any form. I am still disputing this with my credit card company and will cancel my card if this is not resolved. Bottom line, they have the dress, my money and I have a bill for NOTHING.

I purchased my bridal gown through this same bridal online store.  I had SEVERAL conversations (live chats) with their online bridal consultants about sizes, delivery, returns, dress choice, etc. before I finally ordered my dress.  It was the perfect size for me (I had alterations done for some small things I wanted changed) and it arrived well before the stated delivery date.  The dress was beautiful and exactly how it was pictured.  I was very happy with the service I received from this company and would definitely buy another dress from them (of course, not for another wedding for me, LOL) for a special event.  I appreciate that it is not always easy to return things bought online - but I don't think this business is different from any other in that regard.  I think we should all be careful buying things online - and be certain that the item is exactly what we want before ordering.  I did my homework on the dress before ordering it from this business (went to a local bridal store and tried on dresses of a similar style, size, etc) and perhaps that is why I did not need to return my dress.  Bottom line:  my dealings with this company were more than fine, I was very happy, and I would buy from them again.

We at Bridal Online Store know how important getting your dress and having it fit is. That is why we strive to provide every single customer with the best service humanly possible. We know that every woman is going to talk about where she got her dress and how she was treated and we want every customer to be more than satisfied, we want them to be a walking testimonial to our award winning service.

Every customer from Bridal Online Store.com must sign our return policy before they can place a order with us. Our return policy was put in place to protect the customer and ourselves. Many customers will purchase prom gowns or destination gowns and them attempt to return them once the event is over. We only sell brand new gowns to our customers. This way every bride, graduation, or Quinceanera customer will know they are the only women to have worn their gown.

This particular bride returned a dress that had been worn and was stained. She did not call for a return authorization for over 2 weeks. We offered to ship here the exact same dress in the size she wanted immediately and it would arrive 1 month before her listed wedding date. She tells in her report that from some unknown reason she would not be home for a lengthy period of time.

While we want to believe everyone unfortunately in this instance there were to many factors that pointed to the dress being worn for an event and then it was attempted to be returned.

Even the customers own credit card company agreed with us and would not return the customers money.
