I went to Bridaltown in search of my wedding gown on January 3, 2004 while there I found a gown that I liked but before I paid any monies, I wanted to make sure that I was sure of this gown.
Before I signed anything my future mother inlaw, my aunt as well as myself contiuously asked the sales rep (Enza) if we found this gown at a lower rate would she honor it.
She stated yes, just bring her the proof, but I wouldn't find it because this was an exclusive only for BRidaltown she assured that I wouldn't find it anywhere else. In order to honor this she had to put $200 on hold on my credit card, and upon my decision she would either credit it back to my card or apply it to my balance due if I decided to purchase it through Bridaltown.
We agreed, the next day I found the same exact gown, the same manufacturer and style number. I even contacted the manufacturer and they stated this was not an exclusive gown for any company.
I proceeded to call Enza (Bridaltown) and she declined that this conversation ever took place and she would not honor the fact that I found this gown at a lower price. I sent her a letter and all of the documentation I gathered fron the store where I saw the gown as well as the literature I had recieved from the manufacturer, her store refused to sign for the letter and it came back to me.
All of this to say to this day I am still disputing this charge. They won't respond to any of my mail but will respond to the bank that they are not refunding my money.
Through the bank acredit was issued but now reversed because the company has stated I have never contacted them and now the bank is saying I have to deal with the merchant directly.

I have been petitioning Mr. Gamma for two years to address bridal retailers (nationwide) who deceive consumers over and over again like Bridal Town, Kaufman's and Vera Wang as experienced by many ladies.
Bridal dresss retail executives always tell brides and mothers that they are crazy after the retail executive (sales con? artist) makes you crazy with their deception and lies.
Every one who is outraged at bridal retailers nationwide write and tell (Mr. Gamma/address and case # above) that you are maddened his office, the Federal Trade Commission, the FBI, and U.S. Justice Dept. are doing very little to stop these repetitive criminals amongst our Societies nationwide.
Bridal dress executives have cause more victims in the year 2004 who feel brutalized by corporate wolves (sales con? artist) who smile at the consumer during the sale and then they lie, cheat, steal and verbally brutalize many ladies trying to get their wedding dresses on time.
This nationwide problem of deception affects many hundreds of ladies complaining in many states about being misled by bridal dress executives.
For the past 20 years the deception has continued and we know that throught the repetive complaint filed by many diligent consumers nationwide.
We ladies are powerful to fight back this year by pounding and pounding the NY State Attorney's Office with many complaints.
Ask your sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friend to write letters of complaint also, even if they only witnessed (we need witnesses) the devastation bridal retailers cause families and the further damages they cause many ladies planned events (or wedding).
Even if you are in other states send your letters of complaint to Mr. Gamma at the NY City State Attorney's office as they are on notice of the nationwide problems that are haunting many women shopping for wedding apparel.
Keep up the complaints and I will keep up the pressure on all the bridal retailers and manufacturers to help us ladies stop the brutal deceptive, illegal act of many bridal dress executives nationwide.
We ladies nationwide are sick of the deception of bridal dress retailers and manufacturers and we are here to day to tell you so.
Sick, Sick, Sick and even more sick that the state attorneys and other federal agencies allows it to continue for many years.

LEt's me hear from the ladies who plan on writing the NY attorney to stop this repetitive crime for the brides of tomorrow (2005, 2006, 2007) if history of bridal dress fraud provides lessons and knowledge.
The history of bridal dress complaints should tell us a lesson which is to never, never shop order gowns through bridal retailers unless you don't mind being misled as to products ordered.
Ladies,
Just get a ready to wear gowns at the department stores who have better quality for less price then what is being received by many ladies who describe their dresses as being too small, too short, to tight, beads and bow falling off as well as describing "nightmare retailers". It is all in the evidence of bridal dress fraud nationwide, in my investigative opinion, of course.
