Hello there I have a very similar story to most of you who have submitted reports. I was also given a project to solicit business owners to sell their businesses and had the same responses (laughing, anger, hang ups). The very next day after the project ended and I did not give them the number of leads they wanted, I was sent a termination email. I even asked then at the time of employment how they handle situations where you dont meet quota. I was told they do not let you go after the first incident but that was a lie. I would really like to know how many people actually make it past their 20 hour probation period. After 20 hours your rate of pay goes from 10 to 12 dollars supposedly. They have very unreasonable expectations. They want you to dial 2 phone numbers per minute and submit 3 to 4 leads per hour. If you are dialing that many numbers, when do you have time to actually have a dialog with the prospective client?

After I was left go I was not able to reach anyone representing the company about money owed to me. I would get voice mails and unanswered emails. I do plan on pursuing this if I do not get what is owed to me because it is about the principal. After much investigation I also found out that Brighten Communications is also called Clear Choice Solutions. I am sure they will never admit this to any employee or prospective client but it is true. They have the same address but different numbers. Clear Choice Solutions is the name they use to market businesses and Brighten Communications is the name they use to solicit employees. I urge anyone who is wronged by them to file complaint with the labor board in Arizona where they are based and the state you live in. The word needs to get out about this on-line sweat shop.

I am a stay at home mom and felt taken advantage of by this company and do not want the same to happen to any other unsuspecting people. If anyone out there knows of a legitimate work at home business opportunity, please share the info.

Brighten saved me for over 4 years

AUTHOR: Luckygal - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 12, 2009

I too ran across this while investigating another company and was surprised to see the negative comments. From late 2003 through last year I called for Brighten and was very thankful for the job. I was able to work from home at my own schedule while I tended to my husbands disability. Thank God he's back to good health and I'm back to full time mom :) Even back then they started me at 10 and immediately moved me to 12. By the time I finished with them I was over 15 and had mostly projects I liked. It is tough telemarketing nowadays so I can understand why someone gave it a shot and may have had a bad experience. However my experience with Brighten over the years was great once I got things down and the one thing I can certainly attest to is the pay...on once occasion my check did not arrive by mail (no direct deposit back then) and they fed-exed a replacement. The check arrived a week later which proved of course that they mailed it and it was not their fault. My heart goes out to anyone who feels wronged however I believe my claim to fame with success there was to be pleasant on the phone, dial 50 numbers as quick as you can then take a 5 minute fun break, and let anything negative roll off your back! I don't believe Clear Choice intentially wronged anyone who did their job!

AUTHOR: Sandy Sage - (U.S.A.)

I worked for Clear Choice for almost 2 years. They always paid me everything they owed me and in a timely manner. Clearly the people here complaining could not produce.
I'm no fan of Clear Choice but absolutely do not believe they rip people off. You have to have some talent to do the work!

Happy Telemarketer Working with Brighten Communications

AUTHOR: Telemarketerbytrade - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 23, 2007

By accident I came across this website. I was really surprised by the negative comments reported . I have been working for Brighten for almost 2 monthes I AM VERY HAPPY. I left 20 years of corporate sales 7 years ago. I consider myself an experienced telemarketer. As a result, my experience with Brighten has been VERY SUCCESSFUL. I have been able to meet or exceed my goals on every project. I have had no problem making more than the necessary phone calls to complete a project.

I believe, in order to be a success at this job you must work quickly, be able to multitask, and be a little thick skinned. Telemarketing, by trade, will have rejections. Brighten lead lists are no exception.

I also had a problem with payroll that was RESOLVED VERY QUICKLY. My first automatic payroll deposit did not go through due to an error with my acct information. Not only did Human Resources respond via phone within an hour, but my team leader responded via email that a check would be FEDEX'd for the next business day. I received it and was very thankful for the rapid resolution to the problem.

Telemarketing is a challenge, but it is not for everyone. It s a shame that so many have had bad experiences. I just wanted to let you all know that some of us are doing just fine at Brighten Communications.

Stay Away From Brighten Communications

AUTHOR: T. Flack - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 18, 2007

I cannot warn People enough, and am sorry for anyone who has had any contact with this so called company. They never returned any emails or phone calls after they terminated me unfairly. Please if you are considering working for these people think twice about it, it won't last long.

I have searched and cannot find a legitimate company willing to hire for At Home work. Hopefully something will come. Good luck to everyone!!!
