Brighthouse Networks RoadRunner Internet is a Scam Bradenton Florida

I have been a RoadRunner Customer for 6 years and the price has never stopped rising. First you sign up with a 6 month deal for $29.95/month and then it increases to $34.95/month, no big deal, well it wasn't for 3 years until they raised the price again. It's now $39.95, understandable.. right? Well then another year goes by and now it's $44.95.. Well it can't go any higher right? Wrong, it's been another year and I just got a letter saying they are raising the price another $5/month.

So now I would be spending $49.95/month for 7Mbps internet. I don't have TV through brighthouse so they ream you like no tomorrow to get you to get a "package" through them (yes i could get phone, digital tv, and even faster internet for less than double what I'm paying for just internet) Forget that Brighthouse cable is horrible and buzzes horribly when connected to a pc, half their channels are still analog, and the HD is far from high def. I have had DirecTv for many years now and absolutely love it.

As far as the internet is concerned I'm switching to Verizon. The equivalent speed package is $8/month cheaper. And they have a 3Mbps/1.5Mbps package for $29.95/month. As compared to brighthouse who states "High speed internet at a dialup price" This package they refer to is 768kbps/384kbps and costs $29.95/month.. Since when has dialup cost $29.95/month? 1980? False advertises and very rude on the phone, I placed an inquiry to the Office of the President of Bright House Networks Tampa Bay division and this was the response I actually received: "Yeah, thats what it costs, anything else I can help you with." I'm officially don't with DimHouse Doesn'tworks and will never be a returning customer. I would rather not have internet or TV then ever return. Just remember, there are other options and Brighthouse isn't worth your trouble, so stay away to begin with.
