Ordered tile that they said I could pick up at a local tile store; would be in 7-10 days. Called Jason at bid4floors.com on the 7th day, and he said it would be in on the 10th. Called on the 10th day, and the local lstore I was to pick it up at said they didn't have it and didn't know when they would. Called back Jason at Bid4floors and he said it would be here in 5 more days. I called the manufacturer and found out that not only was the tile not in route as Jason stated, but that were actually out of the tile and that it could be as much as four to six weeks until they had more in.
They either have bad communication with the suppliers whose products they carry or Jason at bid4floors.com was lying. Either way, they didn't deliver for me.
Not a ripoff, but there has to be better vendors to work with.

We do at times experience manufacturer delays which is experienced by 100% of all companies in the floor covering industry. It is not common, but unfortunately it does happen. The information that we received from Daltile was relayed to you. We later discovered Daltile did have the order scheduled to be shipped, but the order was not there as the computer stated. The people at Daltile are human beings just like everyone else, and they do make mistakes. We regret this happened and would be more than happy to give you a generous discount on any future purchases with us. Our company has taken several thousand orders, and along the way have listened to all customer feedback but issues like this are beyond our control.
