Brock and Scott seem to be filing law suits on behalf of Bullhead Investments and pressuring people into a repayment schedule without adequate proof of Bullhead Investments claims. Bullhead Investments in a hard to locate company in Missouri. Bullhead uses Brock and Scott to collect their money.
Brock and Scott are suppossed to be a law office, but they appear to be more of a "collection service" for places like Bullhead Investments. Bullhead Investments appears to be a startup company that is playing "hardball" to get into the get rich quick scam of the debt collection business. My wife was "pressured" into a repayment schedule to avoid being sued. They need investigated!

My apology. Above I wrote B&S, Bullhead and Channel Group all share same Wilmington address. I mispoke. I meant to write they all share same Winston-Salem NC address.

You are mistaken about Missouri.
The Bullhead that Brock & Scott are suing for is incorporated in NC and has same principals as B&S and shares same Wilmington NC address as B&S HQ ... in other words ... Bullhead is owned by B&S. Similarly, B&S also owns other junk debt buyers such as Channel Group. Is it a coinkydink names Bullhead & Channel are also names of catfish??? ... that B&S is fishing for your $ ???
You are correct that they probably do not have the docs to prove their claims. I KNOW they didn't in a very recent matter.
I have the lowest opinion of Brock & Scott and its associates/employees/investors but make no mistake ... B&S are a legitimate law firm with offices throughout Carolinas ... no surprise they are also big into representing plaintiffs (lenders) in forelosures. If you ignore them, they will sue and they will win by default ... they are banking on 85% defendant no-show & subsequent default.
There's a successful & very affordable SC lawyer who has experience making B&S pay for their sins; she specializes in representing debtors being harrased by jdb's & her name is Penny Hays Cauley and she's in Florence SC see www DOT hayscauley DOT net
I'm not a schill for her but am impressed with what she's done for a friend I've been helping; I'm also relieved. I absolutely HATE junk debt buyers.

The myrtle beach paper "Sun News" did an decent expose on Bullhead & B&S in May 2009 but sadly I think it's now only available as archive ($).
